Privacy notice

PKM Consulting Services, 3 Linksfield Road, Dunvegan, Edenvale, Johannesburg, South Africa, is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website.

For any privacy question or request, email info@pkmconsultancy.co.za with “Privacy” in the subject line.

When you send an enquiry: your name, work email, and any phone number, organisation, job title, message, number of delegates, preferred location and timeframe you choose to give, together with the programme and session you enquired about.

When you request the training calendar: your name, work email and organisation.

When you subscribe to updates: your email address and the time you gave consent.

With every form: the page you submitted it from, the referring website, and campaign codes (such as utm_source) if you arrived through a campaign link.

To protect our forms from abuse, we keep a one-way, salted hash of your IP address for up to 24 hours. We cannot recover your IP address from it.

To respond to your enquiry, send you programme and registration information, and arrange training or services you ask about.

To send you the training calendar you requested.

To send occasional updates about programmes and events — only if you ticked the box to agree. Requesting the calendar or sending an enquiry does not subscribe you.

To understand which campaigns bring people to our website, and to keep our forms free of spam.

Submissions are stored in a database provided by Supabase, and emails are sent through Resend. The website is hosted by Vercel. These operators process information only on our instructions.

Some of these services store or process information on servers outside South Africa. Where that happens, we rely on the protections POPIA requires for cross-border transfers.

We do not sell your personal information.

We keep enquiry and request records for as long as we need them to respond to you and to maintain our business records, and then delete them. Rate-limiting hashes are deleted after 24 hours.

If you unsubscribe from updates, we keep a record that you did so, in order to respect your choice.

You may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request a copy; ask us to correct or delete it; object to our processing it; and withdraw consent to marketing at any time.

To exercise these rights, email info@pkmconsultancy.co.za. We may need to confirm your identity first.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at www.inforegulator.org.za.

Our website uses encrypted connections. Submitted information is accessible only to PKM staff who need it and to the operators named above. Browsers never connect to our database directly.

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
